Shakeo Mug Cake

OMGGGGGG ya'll. My newest obsession. Chocolate peanut butter mug cake. Hell yes. I don't know about you, but I kinda have a sweet tooth. it doesn't matter how healthy I am my body genuinely craves sugar. However, I know loading up on junk food won't bless me or my body. So I am always on the look out for healthier sweet options. I normally have a daily Supershake. Its a product my company creates and it helps me fight that sweet craving, while getting my daily source of vitamins and nutrients. For those anti veggie eaters, like I used to be - this is the perfect way to help supplement, since it acts like 7 salads but takes like a milkshake. HOWEVER. I despiseeeeee cold weather. I dislike being cold. It makes me grumpy. As the snow rolls into central Illinois I'm finding I don't want a milkshake, so I've been trying new ways to enjoy my supershake. Let me share with you, my mug cake recipe! Ingredients 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology 1 egg 3 tablespoons w...

$10 Tuesday | Beer Butt Chicken

Weird, right?!? It sounds so gross but y'all it tastes so good. This is one of my summer favorites but now Ill grill it or bake it to help me prep food for the week. It makes the chicken so juicy and not dry one bit! Ingredients: Whole Small Chicken: varies $5 to $7 A can of Bush Light: .63 cents 2 Tablespoons real butter: .05 Mrs. Dash Seasoning: $ 2.62 (optional) Total: 7.68 (or 10.30 with the Mrs Dash) Directions Before preparing the chicken, open the package then take the bag out of the chicken. (That little package has the gizzards, neck and liver? in it. I don't eat those things so I just throw them out). With an empty chicken, grab a can of beer. My dad says the rule is to take a big drink, but I'm not a beer fan so instead of drinking it, I pour a little bit into a bowl and set aside. Your beer should still be 3/4 of the way full. If you are baking the chicken, then you adjust your racks in our oven to fit the chicken if its standing. You put the beer in the...

Y'all know me. I'm all about budget friendly, simple & delicious foods. I like to keep it basic because I don't like to waste time && I definitely don't like the clean up. So I want to really focus on bringing that to you! I get all the time people who say they cant eat healthy because..... they can't afford it. For a girl who is really fit and not much to lose, I call that a HUGE win! For me I wanted to do it again to feel good on the inside. && yall I feel light as a feather, energized and good. Peanut Butter Nice Cream

Brown bananas, what the heck do you even do with them?!? Today Flash & I whipped up a new recipe and the boys will LOVE it when they get home. We turned them into Nice Cream my boys are incredibly picky when it comes to bananas. As soon as they get one brown spot, they refused to touch them. So some weeks that means we have a lot of bananas getting thrown out. but my kids are obsessed with sweets, ice cream and peanut butter so I thought this would be the perfect combination. Peanut Butter Banana Nice Cream Ingredients 3 ripe bananas 1/2 cup almond milk 1 tablespoon peanut butter Optional toppings of your choice Directions Slice the bananas and place them in the freezer until they are frozen. When they are put them in a food processor or large blender with the almond milk and peanut butter. If your bananas are frozen enough, you can eat right then and there as soft serve. You like your ice cream a little thicker pop in the freezer for a couple hours or more to your likin...

No Bake Super Cookie

Anyone else struggle with after school snacks? My kids, they LOVE junk. They walk in the door begging for candy, chips, cookies. All the things they don't need. I've made it a mission of mine to provide them healthy options when they get home. Today we are mixing up an old favorite &&& we even put a spin on it! No Bake Cookies, make with my supershake (Shakeology). We did vanilla & chocolate because my oldest is just like me; NOT a chocolate eater. So he has peanut butter flavor. These boys are gonna go nutsssss for these. I LOVE this option because its sweet, so to them its a treat. But it has the vitamins and nutrients from my supershake to help fuel their body (it acts like 7 salads) so #momwin I don't feel guilty packing this in their lunch, letting them grab a couple as they run and play. No Bake Super Cookie Ingredients: 2 scoops chocolate Shakeology OR vanilla Shakeology 1 cup oats 1 cup Peanut Butter 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup coconut o...

Twiced Baked Potatoes

"My husband is a meat and potato guy." ^^^this is one of the most common objections I get when it comes to women starting their health and fitness journey. I get it, my husband is too! But just because your husband loves meat & potatoes, doesn't mean you can't start YOUR journey. I know, I know. You don't want to make multiple meals. THAT IS ME. I refuse. You're not going to see me catering to everyone's pickiness. I make one meal and they get to choose if they eat it or not. So maybe you got a meat and potato man. Let me share with you one of my favorite potato recipes. Simple, delicious and family friendly. Twice baked potatoes Ingredients 4 potatoes 6 slices of bacon 1-2 Tablespoons sour cream (can substitute Greek yogurt instead) Himalayan pink salt ground pepper onion powder 3/4 cup shredded cheese Instructions Rinse off your potatoes and stabbed multiple times with a fork. rap eat potato individually in plastic wrap in microwave for 3 minutes. ...
