Tennesse Weekend Getaway | Review

If you know me,
you know I LOVE travel and adventures. I love exploring new places and experiencing it with people I love.

Quality time, its my love language! This weekend filled ALL the cups! It was our annual Diamond Retreat. This is something my best friend and I host for our team of badass women. They could earn it by growing their business, facing their fears and helping others.
I mean, who has a job that when you show up to be your best self you get treated to a better business, vacations, travel and friends?!? MEEEE and its why I love it!

Last year we hit up Florida and this year we knew we wanted to have a more quiet, secluded trip where we could just have our space to hustle, grow and relax. So Tennessee it was.
Ill admit, Kyra and I spent MONTHS looking for the perfect place. We hit up Airbnb & VRBO to try and find a place that fit our wants. Big enough to house everyone, cute enough to throw a party & perfect for what we envisioned. We've had a few Airbnb flops in the past, so we were a little nervous, but the pictures looked awesome and we booked it!
We went a day early to go set up, prep it & have it welcome ready for our girls. The best part about these trips is their reactions when they see the party welcoming them in! When we arrived, it was dark. So we were a little timid. We had traveled up and down the hills, around the winding curves not really sure what was around us. Off the road we pulled down a long gravel drive which led to the house. It was SOOOO pretty, even in the dark! The check in instructions were super easy to follow and Kris had called and texted prior to our arrival to give us last second details, tips and answer any questions we had. Honestly, the fact he did this was AWESOME! We were able to contact him all weekend if we needed anything.

Walking in the door, our mouths dropped OPEN It was WAYYYYY better than we imagined. The pictures on the site were great but they didn't do this house justice. It was gorgeous, clean and so homey. We immediately felt welcome. Its like you cant appreciate it until you are there!
The next day we were up bright and early to get groceries and set up before the girls arrived. Seeing the house in the sunlight. OMGGGG yall, it was PERFECT. && the best part is it is very secluded, but still only 10 minutes from town -- which has all the stores you need! Perfect to load up with all your food needs for the weekend or a quick liquor run for those drinks around the campfire.

The girls arrived Friday afternoon and they were BLOWN away. They quickly picked rooms and we started our festivities. The porch held our party as it had the Edison bulbs over the back patio which was so cute! A speaker playing music, not having to worry about intruding on neighbors.

The next morning we woke up of course started our day with a workout. The backyard is PERFECT for the entire group. We set our ipad up on the steps, mixed up our unicorn powder and killed it. Then of course all the pictures! This place has soooo many cute little set ups, the lane, the house, perfect for those insta pictures! (an influencers dream!) After lunch we all gathered in the living room, with plenty of seating. The TVs they have are huge and fully equipped. (DVDs, Netflix, all the needs). We set it up to live video chat with the one and only Kim Fitzpatrick where she shared her heart, gave us some insight and tough love to help us grow as leaders. Talk about all the emotions! We spent the rest of the day relaxing, working. We sat outside, they had plenty of chairs, a picnic table and high top table. The weather was perfect.

We ended the evening with a taco bar & margaritas. We set up a campfire to gather around and when the bugs came out we took the elevator to the basement to sit on the gigantic couch to girl talk. Yup, I said elevator! Its so cool, covered in cow hide and so unique. I mean what house has an elevator?!?

The house was just what we needed. With 11 women, we had plenty of bathrooms 3 full, one half bath. The kitchen was fully equipped with ANYTHING you need. The fridge was huge & they have a laundry room to use as you need. Along with a bar upstairs & downstairs. && for early morning coffee and devotional a cute front porch to overlook the drive.

No matter your need, for a weekend away this place is perfect for big groups; friends or families. Its the perfect secluded house that is big and spacious and a backyard to let your kids run free!
If you're looking for a cabin getaway -- 5 stars! Do it!

No Bake Super Cookie

Anyone else struggle with after school snacks? My kids, they LOVE junk. They walk in the door begging for candy, chips, cookies. All the things they don't need. I've made it a mission of mine to provide them healthy options when they get home. Today we are mixing up an old favorite &&& we even put a spin on it! No Bake Cookies, make with my supershake (Shakeology). We did vanilla & chocolate because my oldest is just like me; NOT a chocolate eater. So he has peanut butter flavor. These boys are gonna go nutsssss for these. I LOVE this option because its sweet, so to them its a treat. But it has the vitamins and nutrients from my supershake to help fuel their body (it acts like 7 salads) so #momwin I don't feel guilty packing this in their lunch, letting them grab a couple as they run and play. No Bake Super Cookie Ingredients: 2 scoops chocolate Shakeology OR vanilla Shakeology 1 cup oats 1 cup Peanut Butter 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup coconut o...
